I believe it is important that you understand the cost of therapy before deciding whether you would like to begin.
Below you can find the current session fees, payment options and cancellation terms for The Choice to Change. If you are unsure which type of appointment applies to you, you are welcome to get in touch before booking.

Initial Conversation
Can I speak with Genovieve before starting therapy?
A short introductory conversation gives you an opportunity to ask questions, briefly explain what you are looking for and understand whether working together may be appropriate. There is no obligation to continue into therapy.
Payment Methods
How can I pay?
The current payment methods are bank transfer (BACS) and cash. Payment arrangements are explained before therapy begins.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
What happens if I need to change an appointment?
Sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Appointments changed with less than 48 hours’ notice may still be charged. If you do not attend a booked appointment without cancelling, the session may also be charged. Where possible, please contact me as soon as you know you cannot attend.
This gives us the best opportunity to rearrange the appointment.
Ending Therapy
Can I stop therapy at any time?
Yes. You can decide to end therapy at any time. Where possible, it can be useful to discuss ending therapy during a session so that we can review the work and bring the therapeutic relationship to a considered close. If you decide to stop before your next appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Any outstanding fees will still need to be paid.
Refunds & Outcomes
Are therapy results guaranteed?
No. Therapy involves individual circumstances, personal history, therapeutic work and many factors outside the therapist’s control. For that reason, I do not guarantee a particular outcome, timeframe or result. Therapy is not a product with a guaranteed result and it should not be described as one.
My responsibility is to bring my professional knowledge, experience and therapeutic skills to the work and provide appropriate support within my professional boundaries. Your experience of therapy will be individual. We can review how the work is progressing together and discuss any concerns you have along the way.
Your Role in Therapy
Is therapy something the therapist does for me?
Therapy is collaborative. You bring your experiences, decisions and goals. I bring professional knowledge, therapeutic skills and a structured space in which we can work together. Depending on the type of therapy, you may also be invited to reflect on ideas or practise strategies between sessions. You remain responsible for the decisions you make in your own life.

Group sessions and support for staff or employees are available to companies, with prices on request.
